Oxford University: 69% of fans agree with Zayn's decision to leave One Direction!

 

He broke the hearts of millions of fans around the world when he revealed his decision to quit One Direction this week.

Zayn Malik is wanting to walk away from the music industry stating "I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22 year old".

Zayn was trending on Wednesday evening after the announcement and after analysing the tweets, Oxford University have revealed that 69% of One Direction stand by the 22 year old's decision!

They managed to judge each tweet on whether it promoted a positive or negative sentiment towards Zayn Malik and One Direction.

Over 3 million tweets were written by fans after the band confirmed his departure, TheySay data revealed.

One Direction will continue as a four piece band, they are set to tour the UK in the summer.
