Win with The Peak FM Bake-Off!

This May Bank Holiday, The Great British Food Festival is back and Peak FM have joined forces as we invite you to join us at Hardwick Hall from Saturday 2nd to Monday 4th May.

Here at Peak FM we love all things food and what better way to get our listener's baking then with The Peak FM Bake-Off!

Simply, we want you to upload your best baking creation, it could be James's favourite carrot cake, or a pastry delight favoured by Craig or simply a great British pudd loved by our very own Becky!

Then we will put all your baking creations online at our 'Peak FM Bake-Off!' gallery.

With the help from the team at The Great British Food Festival we will then choose our top 5 creations who will then go on to battle it out in the cake-off category at the Great British Food Festival each receiving a family ticket for the day on Saturday 2nd May 2015. We will then be crowning our winner victorious who will win the Peak FM Bake-off trophy and a VIP goody hamper with VIP tickets to Sunday too!

So what are you waiting for? Get baking and show us your creations!

The Great British Food Festival is the perfect recipe for the weekend, with over 80 top local and artisan producers, a big serving of stunning hot food, add a dash of real ale and wine bars, kids cookery lessons and lots of children’s activities, top chef demos from the likes of Great British Bake Off finalists Howard Middleton, Luis Troyano and Master Chefs Luke Owen, stir in a cake competition and the popular Men V’s Food, with lashings of excellent live music and mix together to make a lovely foodie family day out.

The main chef demo area hosts great local and tv chefs, all demos are free (as part of your admission ticket) to enter so everyone can pick up top foodie tips. There are also regular Artisan Foodie talks and the popular Great British Cake off and Men V’s Food for you to get involved with! The Great British Food Festival has attracted lots of producers showcasing the best in local, seasonal and speciality food and drink. It’s a great opportunity to get a real taste of the best of Derbyshire and Great British produce - sample, enjoy and buy. With Great Britain’s amazing mix of cultures and cuisines we thought it would be a shame to overlook some more exotic elements - so you can try Thai, Mexican, Asian as well as pulled pork, prime steak, and the best local burgers and sausages, for those with more traditional tastes! After you’ve done your foodie shopping, sit out enjoying tasty hot food, a refreshing drink (or two), with great live music in the stunning surroundings of Hardwick Hall. The perfect recipe for a fun, foodie day out for the whole family.
