About Bakewell Show

One of the oldest agricultural shows in the UK with nearly 200 years of history, Bakewell Show has evolved from a purely agricultural display to the diverse event it is today with something for everybody!

The rain stopped, the sun came out and what a fantastic show we had in 2013. Thank you to everybody who helped to make the show a success. Why not have a look at thegallery to see some great photos of the show.

Always held on the first Wednesday & Thursday in August, the 184th show will take place on the 6th & 7th August 2014 with the dedicated Equestrian day on Tuesday 5th. The Center Ring attraction will be the James Dylan Motorcycle Stunt Display Team, headed by dazzling adventurer James Dylan. Over the years he has gained five world records and appeared on TV with his exploits shown on everything from 'Stars on Sunday' to 'The Worlds Most Amazing Videos'. 2014 is a celebration year for Food & Farming as the section marks its 25th anniversary and by coincidence the 2014 President is Mary Morten, who has played a large part in establishing the link between food and farming at the show.
