The Search for a Star-Crow!

Peak FM have joined together with the Bakewell Show to bring you ‘The Search for a Star-Crow!'

We want EVERYBODY across North Derbyshire – schools, families, businesses and individuals to make their very own Scare Crows with a Super Hero or Super Star twist! We want to find the Harry Potter and Batman’s of the Scare Crow World

The top 5 Star-Crows will be displayed in a special Star-Crow field at Bakewell Show 2017– with the chance to win an iPad!

Plus everyone one who enters a Star-Crow will receive 1 adult and 1 child pass to attend the show!

WHAT’S NEW?

For the first time all visitors can enjoy FREE parking at Bakewell Show (please note there is no park and ride system this year).

A new ‘shopping village’ area will be located next to the Show office - this will ease congestion on main walkways and give visitors the opportunity to browse in a more leisurely fashion.

A new beer competition will take place, run by Matteo Frau, head brewer at Birchover Brewery. Categories include best microbrewery and best homebrew, with the latter winning a day brewing at Birchover and the former’s beer on sale at next year's Show.

The Love Food Live cookery demo trailer will be in residence for the first time. Kitchen demos will be run by celebrity chef Richard Fox, known as the Beer Chef, who appeared in Men Brewing Badly with friend Neil Morrissey in 2010.

Ticket Prices:
Adult tickets are £17 in advance and £18 on the gate. Seniors are £15 in advance and £16 on the gate while children’s and Equestrian Day tickets cost £5. Programmes including a map will be on sale at the event priced at £1.
