Apollo Saxophone Quartet
Friday, February 22nd
The Apollo Saxophone Quartet will perform original music set to black and white films from the turn of the 20th century, including a trio of experimental films from 1906 by French illusionist and director Georges Méliès. The programme will offer a captivating and thought-provoking insight into how the film world has changed since its humble beginnings over a century ago. The themes of the films are just as relevant today as when they were first conceived, and the messages contained within still resonate with a modern audience.
