Friends of the Peak District Magnificent Walk 2019
Saturday, April 13th
Our annual Magnificent Walk will start and finish at Tegg’s Nose Country Park and explore some of the finest walking in Cheshire with stunning views! Enjoy this friendly, well-managed, way-marked annual event and support a great cause which protects the Peak District national park for us all to enjoy.
Route: From the cafe and car park at Teggs Nose Country Park, through Langley, along the Gritstone Trail, over Sutton Common, via Wincle (and the brewery!) and back via the Friends’ Peak District Boundary Walk – through Wildboarclough, over Shutlingsloe (the Cheshire Matterhorn, 506m), through Macclesfield Forest and over Teggs Nose…. and back to the visitor centre for a well-earned coffee and cake!
We will provide water stations (and flapjack!) along the route.
Price: £12. £15 after 6 Apr / on the day.Under 16s free
