Peak Awards 2020

About the Awards

2020 has already been one of the most challenging years we have faced; communities have come together more closely than ever, outstanding bravery and kindness has been seen every day.

Throughout difficult times exceptional people shine. Ordinary people doing extraordinary things. Mums, Dads, carers, teachers, children, neighbours, colleagues and friends.

Peak FM is proud to once again recognise the amazing achievements of people from across our area; those who have made a difference to our community, shown courage and helped make the lives of others that little bit better.

In the interests of safety and maintaining social distance the Peak FM Awards will, this year, be held as a virtual ceremony with video and audio content of our outstanding award recipients broadcast on-air or published online. Instead of a physical stage, we will shine the spotlight using the power of radio and digital reach, giving remarkable people the acknowledgement they deserve.

Thank you to our wonderful local business partners who have kindly agreed to help bring this campaign to air with their support.

We all know someone that deserves to be recognised and this is your opportunity to tell us their story and help to get them the recognition that they deserve.

Award recipients will be selected from Peak FM listener nominations and local news stories and will be selected by a Peak FM judging panel.

The Peak FM Awards will be held across the day on Friday 5th June through Peak FM’s digital platforms and via our daytime shows.

We can’t wait to say thank you and well done to some amazing people.

Big thanks to everyone who nominated someone they know for a Peak FM Award this year.

Be sure to tune in to Peak FM on Friday 5th June to see who were crowned our winners
