Chesterfield FC to receive undisclosed add-on fee for Liam Cooper following Leeds' promotion to the top flight

Marcelo Bielsa's men clinched the Championship title over the weekend.

Chesterfield FC will receive a substantial six-figure sum from Leeds United following their recent promotion to the Premier League.

The Spireites inserted the add-on clause into their agreement with the West Yorkshire club when Liam Cooper signed for the Whites back in 2014.

The Leeds United skipper played for the North Derbyshire club under Paul Cook between 2013 and 2014.
