Chesterfield thrashed at Sutton United

They lost 4-0 in South London.

Chesterfield were unable to build on their first National League victory of the season over the weekend.

The Spireites were comfortably beaten 4-0 at Sutton United.

Aaron Jarvis notched a brace for the hosts, whilst Tommy Wright and Harry Beautyman also got on the scoresheet.

It means the visitors are without an away win since March.

Under-fire Manager John Sheridan admitted afterwards he's under pressure to turn things around quickly;

"It was a bad, bad result.

"We can't keep on playing like this. We always seem to be playing catch up in games."

The loss sees the Spireites slip down to twenty-third in the National League.
