Striker Louis Dodds has returned to Chesterfield after a spell on loan at League Two side Port Vale.
During his time at Vale Park, Dodds made seventeen appearances and provided two assists in the EFL Trophy.
The 32-year-old will be available for squad selection for tomorrow’s match at the Proact against Barrow.
Speaking on Dodds' return, manager John Sheridan said: "He's not been figuring too much at Port Vale so he's coming back. While he's here he's going to be part of the squad and hopefully force his way in the team."
Looking ahead to this weekend's match, Sheridan said: "They're a good team. I expect us to win and i'm focusing on how we're going to play and if we play like how the lads have shown me in training and epsecially the 2nd half last week, we've got a good chance."
"I want us to play quick, passing football and create chances."
