Chesterfield manager John Sheridan has told his players to put the 1-0 defeat at home to Harrogate Town behind them, as the Spireites go head-to-head with Barnet tomorrow (Tuesday) night.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Sheridan told Peak FM: "I'd prefer a game coming quickly when you've had a defeat or a result you don't want. Whether as a manager or a player, I think it is the best way to come back.
"Don't dwell on Saturday. We've got to worry about Barnet now as it's tomorrow night and we go there against a team who is in and around us."
"We're going to lose games, we're not going to play well in games, but I think the endeavour and desire to try and get something out of the game is there but I'd like us to be cuter and cleverer and I'll say it many a time, we do need to be better on the ball."
