Chesterfield FC's caretaker manager is urging the fans to get behind the players in tomorrow's fixture at home to Hartlepool United.
Pemberton's plea comes after a 4-0 thrashing at home to Solihull on boxing day, which led to a pitch invasion by a section of supporters against the club's ownership.
Since then, Ashley Carson has resigned from his position on the club's board and manager Martin Allen has left the club, along with his backroom staff.
Academy manager Pemberton, who will be in temporary charge until a new manager is hired is urging supporters to back the side tomorrow: "Just get behind your team. It's a great club and it will get back.
The players need the support, everybody needs the support of the football club and I'm sure we'll get it. We've been bottom of this league, there or there abouts and we're still getting four and a half thousand people.
So that says everything. I think the frustration hasn't been so much the players but maybe other things to just get behind the team."
