Chesterfield have reached an agreement with Doncaster Rovers to keep Alex Kiwomya and Alfie Beestin on extended loans.
Kiwomya, who joined the Spireites in October, will spend the rest of the season at the Proact and Beestin's loan has been extended until February 14.
Kiwomya has scored three goals in seven appearances for Chesterfield while Beestin has made four appearances.
Caretaker-manager John Pemberton said: "They've both been great and they were both very positive in my conversations with them. They're enjoying it here and made it clear they were happy to stay."
Pemberton also spoke about his side's progress ahead of their home game against Ebbsfleet: "The last two games, I felt we could have won both, which is really pleasing. We've got three different goalscorers in those games so we're getting a few goals now from other areas.
It's getting the balance now between trying not to concede but not being too negative. We need to win football matches.I'm not going out to draw any football match but having said that I don't want to end up on the back of something we really don't deserve so it's just a balancing act."
"The character in the performances has been great, the players have been unbelievably supportive to me, whatever I've needed they've been there."
