Chesterfield FC say they will be taking a 'strong squad' to face Staveley in the first friendly of their per-season campaign.
The match, which kicks off at 3pm, will provide Spireites fans with their first opportunity to see some of the new signings turn out in a Chesterfield shirt.
A statement on the club's website says "The likes of Anthony Gerrard, David Buchanan and Liam Mandeville are expected to feature at Inkersall Road as the Spireites begin their build-up to the opening game of the season on August 3."
Meanwhile, the Trojans have confirmed preparations are in full swing to welcome Spireites supporters to Inkersall Road.
