It'll still cost £1.40 for an hour of parking in the town centre.
It's been confirmed parking charges will be frozen in Chesterfield for the next year.
The Borough Council have decided to keep the same rates as 2018, which saw shoppers paying 3 pounds for 3 hours of parking.
Councillor Steve Brunt believes Chesterfield's car parks are cheap compared to other towns locally.
He told Peak FM "If you went anywhere else across the region, I don't think you'd get those sorts of prices."
"By comparison to other town's of a similar size, we're doing very well in Chesterfield."
