A schoolboy, who was found dead in a Derbyshire reservoir with his mother, was unlawfully killed by her, according to a coroner's report.
Five year old Jenson Spellman was discovered in the Valehouse Reservoir with his mum-Emma Sillett-in November last year.
A full inquest at Chesterfield Coroner's Court yesterday concluded the 41 year old social worker committed suicide by drowning herself, whilst killing her son using the same method.
The report states Emma Sillet was "found on 22nd November at Valehouse Reservoir, Glossop with injuries consistent with drowning having taken measures to drown herself and antother"
Meanwhile a seperate report stated that young Jenon was "found on the 22nd November 2018 at Valehouse Reservoir, Glossop with injuries consistent with drowning. He was drowned by another."
The conclusion of the coroner as to Jenson's death was categorised as "unlawful killing."
