Coroner rules Killamarsh man who drowned in nearby lake was under the influence of cocaine

An inquest has heard how a man from Killamarsh was under the influence of cocaine before he went into a nearby lake and drowned.

Danny Bushell was 22 years old when he died at Rother Valley Country Park on the 28th January this year.

Chesterfield coroner's court ruled the drug "impaired his judgement to the extent he went into the lake and drowned."

Prior to his death, Mr. Bushell was last seen at 3.15pm on Saturday,January 26th in Sheffield Road, Killamarsh.

In the inquest report, the corner came to the conclusion that his death was "drug related."
