The cost of the average house in Derbyshire has remained unchanged for the second month in a row.
Figures released by the Office for National Statistics this morning show no change between October and November with the average house in the county now costing around £186,000.
The freeze has been echoed nationwide with the price remaining at £271,000.
Despite the price remaining the same in November the same can’t be said for the entire year of 2014 as the average house has increased by 7.8 percent or from £175,000 in January to £186,000 by the end of November.
The figures also suggest the market is starting to level off from a mid-year peak of £190,000 in August however a house will still cost you more money in 2014 than at any other time for the past six years.
