Elderly Man dies after Chesterfield Distraction Burglary

Police are appealing for information on the wherabouts of a biscuit tin stolen from a man\'s house in Chesterfield.

An elderly man died following a distraction burglary at his home.

A man claiming to be dealing with blocked drains visited the house on Carsington Close.

The suspect is described as tall and thin, with a round face, wearing a dark anorak and dark trousers - when he had left the elderly couple noticed a biscuit tin containing cash had been stolen from a bedroom.

Police would like to find that biscuit tin and speak to anyone who may have seen anything suspicious near the house on the 15th of November.
