Former Chesterfield Manager Dean Saunders has been jailed for 10 weeks for failing to comply with a roadside breath test.
It comes after Saunders pleaded guilty at Chester Magistrates' court.
Saunders, of The Paddocks, Whitegate, near Northwich, Cheshire, had initially denied both charges at an earlier hearing. He was also banned from driving for 30 months.
The 55-year-old was stopped in Boughton, Chester by police on May 10th.
He was in charge of the Spireites between May and November 2015, before the club decided to part company with him. The Welshman also played For the likes of Liverpool, Aston Villa, Derby County and Sheffield United during his career as a striker.
