A former Chesterfield FC footballer whose loan spell at the club was cut short due to injuries sustained in a car crash has been charged by police
Jordan Flores was involved in a collision on Baslow Road in Eastmoor on 23rd October last year.
It left the 22-year-old requiring hospital treatment while another driver was Air lifted to hospital in Nottingham.
Police have now charged Flores with driving without due care and attention.
He'll appear at Chesterfield justice centre on the 4th April.
Flores' loan spell with the Spireites was ended in January, after making 15 appearances.
He has recently joined AFC Fylde on a month's loan deal from his parent club, Wigan Athletic.
