Killamarsh Man Charged With Attempted Murder

It is alleged that during the disturbance a firearm was discharged. Nobody was hurt in the incident.

A man has been charged with attempted murder following a firearms incident in Killamarsh.

Sam Taylor, 26, of Rotherham Road, Killamarsh, has been charged with attempted murder following a disturbance in Rotherham Road, Killamarsh on Sunday, September 30.

Mr Taylor appeared at Chesterfield Justice Centre yesterday (October 10) and was remanded in custody. He will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court on November 6.

Derbyshire Police have thanked the public for their assistance in this case, and ask anyone who may have footage or information to get in touch, quoting reference number 18*469206 and Chesterfield CID, in any correspondence.
