Labour lose control in Bolsover

It's the first time the party haven't had a majority there in 40 years.

Labour no longer has control of Bolsover District Council.

The party lost 14 councillors, meaning they now have 18 seats, which is one short of an overall majority.

It means the 37 seat Council is now made up of eighteen Labour members, sixteen independents, two conservatives and one Liberal Democrat.
