Labour take control of Amber Valley Council

Labour have taken back control of the authority for only the second time this side of the Millennium.

The party secured 24 seats in the borough, compared to 19 for the Conservatives, who were the majority party going into the elections.

The Green Part also won one seat on the authority, along with an independent candidate.
