Derbyshire County Council have confirmed the closure of some major routes in the county due to snow falling on higher ground in the county this afternoon.
Four roads in Derbyshire have just closed because of the snow - Cat and Fiddle A537, Axe Edge A53, Holme Moss A6024, Snake Pass A57. We've got gritting crews doing what they can to re-open them. At the moment snow only on higher ground. pic.twitter.com/iKUy8WPLTw— Derbyshire CC (@Derbyshirecc) January 29, 2019
