Man arrested in Barlborough following vehicle thefts from laybys across Derbyshire

Several incidents have been reported over the past few weeks.

A man's been arrested in Barlborough by police after a number of vehicles were stolen from laybys across Derbyshire recently.

They detained him on Tuesday on suspicion of theft.

The cars had been left overnight, whilst motorists were arranging for recovery after a breakdown or following a collision.

Incidents have been reported during the past few weeks on laybys at Barlborough, near to junction 30 of the M1, along the A38 between Ripley and Derby and on the A52 between Derby and the M1.
