New dance classes aimed at bringing communities in North Derbyshire together

A new scheme aimed at helping people out of social isolation will be coming to Holme Hall and Loundsley Green

Dancing For Health will offer local residents classes in an attempt to engage people in thier local community and increase physical activity

Managing Director Tracey Barnes hopes it will have a positive impact: "Dancing boosts happiness and mental health.

"Psychologically, dancing offers an opportunity to be with others, which helps with stress, fatigue and raises self esteem and self confidence. The music that accompanies dancing can heighten energy, motivation, mood and generally provide an enjoyable time.

"Places are limited, so advance booking is advisable for those interested in taking part."

Email: mail@holmehallunite.co.uk to get a booking form by return. Alternatively booking forms can be obtained by calling in at the Holme Hall Unite Community Hub when open to the public (Tuesday 11am - 1pm, or Fridays 2pm - 4pm)
