MenTalk will aim to address the matter in North Derbyshire.
A new group is being set up in Chesterfield for men to talk about their mental health.
MenTalk aims to help reduce the stigma around the issue- by allowing males to speak openly about their problems.
Jason Cotton-who's setting up the group-says he hopes it'll make a difference in the area; "If you're going through a difficult time, and you've got pressures, you're stressed and you feel as though things are getting out of control, the best thing you can do is go and talk to somebody about it."
"Men will quite often just bottle it up, and pretend to the world that they're okay, when the reality is that they aren't. We hope this group will give men the opportunity to discuss their issues without being judged."
The open forum is due to take place on Thursday 11th April, between 7-9pm at the Stonegravels Parish Hall.
