North East Derbyshire's MP stands firm on his Brexit outlook

Lee Rowley's believes Britain needs to leave the EU-with or without a deal.

North East Derbyshire's MP says he won't be voting to delay Britain's exit from the EU.

It's after Theresa May told parliament she'll hold votes on other Brexit options - if her plan is rejected for a second time.

But Lee Rowley has told Peak FM he'd vote for a no deal scenario if the EU weren't prepared to budge in the negotiations; "If ultimately, the EU decide they want to bully the UK to such an extent that they won't give us a reasonable deal, then we'll have to leave without a deal."

"We can't be in a place where the EU dictates to us what we should or shouldn't do as a sovereign nation, but I hope it doesn't come to that."
