Plans to build 150 homes in Brimington rejected by councillors

Plans for up to 150 new homes in Brimington have been rejected by Chesterfield Borough Council.

Developers wanted to create the new properties on Greenfield Land near Northmoor View.

The proposal was knocked back on Monday by councillors, who dismissed the plans due to strong public opposition along with concerns surrounding traffic and air pollution.

F.G Sissons applied to build on the land after last year failing to obtain permission to build 300 homes at the location.
