Police have launched an appeal to the public for information after three teenagers were allegedly robbed at a park in Somersall.
Three boys and two girls were sat at the bandstand at Somersall Park at around 6.30pm on Friday 17 January when they were approached by four men.
The men demanded the group handed over any items they had. One of the victims, a 16 year old boy, told them they wouldn’t, and was pushed by one of the men. The other two boys were also pushed by the offenders and the victim was concerned one of the men may have had a knife.
They have gone through their coat pockets and the men stole three e-cigarettes, a wallet, some Apple Airpods and a bag.
The men then got into a small dark car in the car park and drove off along Somersall Lane, towards Chatsworth Road.
They are reported to have been wearing tracksuits and beanie hats, with face coverings and gloves.
Officers have spoken to the victims and others concerned, and have made local inquiries, but would like to hear from anyone else who may have seen or heard anything suspicious.
