Police appeal for help following an alleged robbery in Renishaw

Derbyshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an alleged robbery in Renishaw earlier this week.

Officers believe a woman was sitting on a bench on a stretch of the Trans Pennine Trail near Main Road in the town when she was approached by a man at around 10:10am on Tuesday January 20th. The offender is then alleged to have approached the woman and punched her before making off with her month towards Staveley.

He is described as white, aged between 20 and 25 and about 5ft 8 inches tall. He was wearing a black coat with the hood up, dark trousers and blue trainers with white and yellow on them. He was also said to have had a nasal septum piercing of a ring with two balls.

Police would like to talk to anyone who may have any information about the alleged incident or anyone who may recognise the man.
