Police appeal for witnesses after burglary at Darley Dale newsagents

Officers are appealing for information after a break-in at a newsagents on Station Road, Darley Dale.

At around 11:10pm on Wednesday, November 7, three padlocks were broken in order to enter Two Dales News and a number of cigarettes were taken. Access was gained through the front door, activating the burglar alarm.

Police say they are keen to speak to someone who was seen getting into a pick-up type vehicle parked on Station Road at the time; this person is not thought to be connected to the incident.

Officers would like anyone who was in the area at the time, or anyone with information to contact them on 101, or online via social media or the Derbyshrie Constabulary website 

Quote the reference number 18*538341 and name of the officer in the case, PC Jodie Ritchie, in any correspondence.
