Police Recover Body from North Derbyshire Reservoir

Police have recovered the body of a man from a reservoir near Clay Cross.

A member of the public called the police on Saturday afternoon (May 10th) after spotting the body in Ogston Reservoir.

The man is believed to have been aged between 50 and 60, of slim build and was balding with dark hair. He was found wearing a black, zipped jacket, a navy sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Police say they have checked missing person records and have not been able to identify the man.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who might know the identity of the man, or may know somone matching the description who they have not seen for a short time.
