Staff there distributed the parcels for free.
Taxi drivers from 'A-Line' helped deliver around ninety food parcels to vulnerable residents in Grangewood yesterday afternoon.
It's after St. Augustine's Church issued a call for help in distributing their supplies.
Co-owner of the firm, Nicola Aldersley, says her staff had no hesitation in helping out in the community;
"Not only were they packing food parcels, they were out delivering them as well.
"I just felt incredibly humbled and proud yesterday, to be working with the most amazing set of people.
"It was a total game changer for the volunteers at St. Augustine's Church.
"They were able to get these vital supplies out to the people who need them the most."
Mrs. Aldersley told us they're willing to help out again in future, until the pandemic passes;
"Anybody, from any of the local services, that are needing for us to deliver medicines or shopping, just needs to get in touch.
"Our drivers have already said to us they're more than happy to go out and get stuck in."
