IT'S nice of the I'm A Celebrity bosses to treat their new victims to a nice meal before putting them through untold horror in the jungle.

Fortunately for the first ten celebrities they had a happy and healthy looking Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly to see them through their first challenge in the lap of luxury in a massive villa in Australia.

The group were divided into two teams and they seemed to pick a partner from the opposite team and sex then they sat down for a silver service meal.

It will be the campmates' last experience of anything other than hungry horror for a while, as as soon as they enter the jungle hell-hole experience, they will face their biggest fears.

Spiders, snakes, crocodiles, possibly Lady C are just a few of the things the stars can expect to have to face in the new series.

Before the series returns this week, bosses have sent in daredevil experts to remove the venomous Australian funnel web spider from the exact area where the celebrities will sleep.

The venom of the Australian funnel web spider is so powerful that just one bite can kill thanks to their razor sharp fangs which are strong enough to pierce through fingernails and soft shoes, so that wouldn't be a nice surprise for the stars.

Although this species are unable to jump, they can still run exceptionally fast and their typical body size ranges from one to five centimetres.

Making matters worse for any celebrities hoping to take a dip, the Australian funnel back spider can survive underwater for several hours and can deliver a deadly bite while swimming.

Symptoms after experiencing an attack can include twitching, vomiting, muscle spasm and death in several reported instances. The time frame from bite to death ranges from 15 minutes to three days.

If that's not enough to give you nightmares, it gets worse for the celebrity line-up which this year includes singer Vanessa White, actor Jamie Lomas and comedian Shappi Khorsandi.

It was recently revealed that red socks are dished out to avoid blood from insect bites showing up on camera.

Meanwhile, producers were forced to prepare a contingency plan after heavy rain threatened to hit the I’m A Celebrity camp.
