Judge throws out Beyonce lawsuit

Score one for Beyonce...

It's after a New York federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit by a filmmaker that accused her of ripping off his work for her visual album Lemonade.

Matthew Fulks sued Beyonce back in June, alleging that Lemonade and its trailer copied nine elements of his short film Palinoia.

However, Beyonce's attorneys filed a motion to dismiss a month later, arguing that the elements in question - including "graffiti and persons with heads down," "parking garage" and "side-lit ominous figures" - provide "a textbook example of what does not constitute a legally cognizable claim of infringement."
