Leona Lewis dropped by record label

Leona Lewis has allegedly been dropped by her latest record label after just one album, according to newspaper reports today.

Leona signed with Island Records after deciding to move away from Simon Cowell's company Syco.

Universal look after Island and are apparently going to hold a meeting to try and keep Leona on board on some way - but right now she's said to be concentrating on her upcoming role in Cats on Broadway.

Leona, who attended the BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology, won the X Factor back in 2006 and initially went from success to success.
