Robbie and Ayda welcome their third baby

The couple have named their third child, who is biologically theirs, Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams

X Factor judge Ayda, 39, surprised fans this morning by revealing they had been on a "long and very difficult path" to have the little girl, who they have named Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams.

Coco, who is "biologically theirs" and carried by "an incredible surrogate mother", is the newest addition to the family and will be sister to Teddy, five, and three-year-old Charlie, who Ayda carried and gave birth to.

Ayda posted a black-and-white image on Instagram with the baby's hand alongside those of her siblings and parents.

She wrote: “I spy with my little eye an extra little hand .

“So we have been keeping a very special secret! We are delighted to share with you that we have had a baby girl….welcome to the world Colette (Coco) Josephine Williams!!

"It has been a very long and difficult path to get here, which is why we have kept it on the down low."

She added: “Family comes in all forms, and this little lady, who is biologically ours, was carried by an incredible surrogate mother, to whom we will be eternally grateful.

"We are over the moon to have this beautiful baby girl in our lives and so blessed that we live in a world which makes this possible.

“As with Teddy and Charlie, we ask that you respect Coco’s privacy and allow us to grow into our new team of 5! #TeamWilliams."

Ayda and Robbie, 44,  tied the knot at their home in LA in 2010, before welcoming their first child Theodora in 2012.

They had their second son Charlton (or Charlie) in 2014.

Robbie famously filmed his wife in the birthing suite for a hilarious video, which included footage of Ayda pushing "exhausted" Robbie in a wheelchair after the birth.

She later revealed: "After I gave birth to Charlie he described the experience as like 'watching his favourite pub burn down'. How many wives would put up with that?"

The couple have a very busy few months ahead, as they not only care for their newborn but also get to work on the X Factor panel.

They reportedly signed a £10 million deal to take part in this series on a panel alongside Louis Tomlinson and Simon Cowell.
