Sequels, remakes and book adaptations dominate "the crop of cinematic c**p" at this year's Annual Razzie Awards.
Ben Stiller's long-awaited sequel to his 2001 hit comedy Zoolander has topped this year's list of this year's "list of movie-misfires".
The Golden Raspberry (Razzie) committee has unveiled its nominations, expanding from five to six contenders in each of its nine categories due to an "unprecedented" amount of bad films.
John Wilson, head of the Razzie Awards, called Zoolander 2 a "15-years-too-late" sequel, and criticising Ben Stiller and co-stars Kristen Wiig and Owen Wilson for some of the year's worst performances.
Also in the running for the "tackiest Tinsel Town trophies" is DC Comics' "WTF comic book battle-royale" Batman V Superman.
Zack Snyder's sequel to 2013's Man Of Steel got eight nods, including worst picture, worst actor for Ben Affleck, worst actor for Henry Cavill and worst supporting actor for Jesse Eisenberg.
Affleck and Cavill were also nominated in the worst screen combo category, as "Ben Affleck & His BFF (Baddest Foe Forever) Henry Cavill".
They will be up against "Johnny Depp & His Vomitously Vibrant Costume" in Alice Through The Looking Glass and "The Entire Cast Of Once Respected Actors" in Collateral Beauty.
This year there is also a documentary in the mix, Dinesh D'Souza's Hillary's America: The Secret History Of The Democratic Party received five nods, including worst screenplay, director and actress.
Veteran stars Robert De Niro and Julia Roberts are also up for a Razzie, for their roles in the box office flops Dirty Grandpa and Mother's Day, respectively.
The Razzies are voted on by 1,014 members from 49 US states and 24 countries.
Other contenders for the Golden Raspberry's main awards include Gerard Butler's Gods Of Egypt, the sequel to Independence Day and the sequel to Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles.
Winners of this year's worst movie awards will be revealed on Saturday 25 February, one day before the Oscars..
