Put A Stop To Bullying

Being bullied is a very lonely experience for many children across North Derbyshire and many are convinced that it is only happening to them.

There were over 11,000 counselling sessions with young people who talked to Childline about online issues last year.

Children and young people who are bullied are more at risk of developing mental health problems, including depression and anxiety. Children at the highest risk are those who are both bullied, and who bully others.

Over the course of our week long campaign we will be heading out across North Derbyshire visiting a number of schools to show that bullying is something that can, and does, happen to anybody and that victims of bullying are NOT alone.

So far we have visited:

Monday

Poolsbrook Primary Academy

Tuesday

Hunloke Park Primary School

Wednesday

Mary Swanwick Primary School

Find out who we're visiting next, tomorrow!
